7 Days In Entebbe

April 3, 2018 // in QuickView - Micro Reviews by David Deverett

Made as a movie twice before in the late 1970’s after the event, this new telling is somewhat okay. Here is the review for 7 Days in Entebbe.

For 7 days in June and July 1976, 4 terrorists took hold of a plane and stopped in Entebbe, Uganda until they got what they wanted the most: money. At the same time, the Israeli Army figured out how to save all the hostages without getting them killed.

Even though Daniel Bruhl and Rosamund Pike are amazing and while Jose Padilha tries his best to direct a good movie, 7 Days in Entebbe ultimately wastes its potential by mixing in modern dancing and confusing flashbacks, with a true story that was really incredible.
