Aladdin QuickViews

If you grew up loving Disney’s 31stanimated gem and enjoyed the 2014 Broadway sensation then get ready for a new take on the classic story Aladdin.

Having grown up as a street rat and thief Aladdin (Mena Massoud) dreams of much more than what he has after meeting Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott). That opportunity happens when Jafar (Marwan Kenzari) asks him to retrieve a lamp from the Cave of Wonders. After that the magic and fun kick in with the Genie (Will Smith) and his flare of personality.

Even though Smith’s portrayal of the Genie is not quite as outstanding as what Robin Williams’ voice brought to the character in 1992, it still has an exciting story, a great cast, amazing costumes and visuals, songs everyone loved from before plus a brand new one written for this version and a pace and flow that zips and flies by fast from start to finish.
