“We Will Rock You” “We Are the Champions” “Another One Bites the Dust” “Somebody to Love” and “Killer Queen”. These are just some of the famous songs Queen has ever written and performed. And now their story is brought to life for the very first time on the silver screen: Bohemian Rhapsody (also the name of their famous song).

Taking place from 1970 to 1985, Freddie Mercury (Rami Malek, Night At the Museum Trilogy, Mr. Robot) becomes part of a startup band, which turns into Queen starting in their hometown of London to become a worldwide group all over the world. As the movie continues on we see more of who Mercury was as a person as well as his personal life, culminating with a spectacular finale at Live Aid.

Filled with classic songs, an incredible never-before told story and an amazing cast, Bohemian Rhapsody will make you get up from your seat, sing along, dance and cheer.

The biggest thing you’ll take away from the film is Malek’s incredible and amazing performance as Mercury that will surely get lots of attention and lots of nominations come Golden Globes and Oscar season.

*Fun Fact*: Bryan Singer started as the director of the film, but was fired 3 weeks before shooting finished, making Dexter Fletcher the final director to finish the movie.
