Dumbo QuickViews

Disney’s 4thanimated feature has been a classic since 1941: Dumbo. Now he comes to life in an all-new live-action retelling of the classic tale.

Picked on by audiences days after he is born, Dumbo’s mother protects him only to be transferred to another place after she is sold. When Dumbo learns to fly, it catches the attention of a circus mogul who wants to make a star out of him. What Dumbo’s circus family don’t know is that a deep, dark secret is lurking that will finally be revealed.

With an exciting story written by Ehren Kruger, an amazing cast headed by Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny Devito, Eva Green, Alan Arkin and Nico Parker (Thandie Newton’s daughter), beautiful visuals, a wonderful score by Danny Elfman and great directing by Tim Burton, Dumbo might not be as memorable as the 1941 animated original but is certainly a lot of fun to watch and enjoy since it reunites Burton with Batman and Penguin.
