Golden Globes 2019 QuickViews

March 1, 2019 // in QuickView - Micro Reviews by David Deverett, Studios

Was the Golden Globes as good as last year? Find out in this interesting review.

Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh were okay but not great as hosts (even though Samberg should’ve done it by himself which would’ve been funnier and better).

The bit between Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph was really the worst thing that made no sense at all during the category they presented together.

As for who won during the evening? Lots of surprises including Oh winning for her show Killing Eve, A Star Is Born only winning for Best Original Song, Alfonso Cuaron winning as Best Director for Roma when it really should’ve gone to Bradley Cooper and exciting but unexpectedly Bohemian Rhapsody winning respectively with Rami Malek as Best Actor-Drama and producer Graham King winning for Best Picture-Drama.

Other than that I was happy for whoever won in the categories.
