If you love caper movies then get ready for a whole bunch of them. Here is a throwback review for the Ocean’s franchise.
In each of the Ocean’s movies we are introduced to the same cast of men that we grow to love who take on different jobs to make lots of money.
In Ocean’s 11 (original and remake) Danny Ocean and his team decide to rob 3 casinos at once.
Ocean’s 12 sees the group in Amsterdam trying to take on a new heist.
And Ocean’s 13 sees the men take down Willy Bank (Al Pacino) for messing with Reuben (Elliott Gould), the group’s backer on their heists.
One great element to these movies is the cast.
The original Ocean’s Eleven includes the Rat Pack (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr. and Joey Bishop) along with Angie Dickinson.
Ocean’s 11 (the remake) features an all-star cast headed by George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, Bernie Mac, Casey Affleck, Carl Reiner, Elliott Gould, Andy Garcia and Julia Roberts.
Ocean’s 12 brings everyone back and adds Vincent Cassel and Catherine Zeta-Jones to the mix with a special cameo by Bruce Willis.
And Ocean’s 13 has all the men together again except for Roberts and Zeta-Jones but brings in Al Pacino and Ellen Barkin to spice things up.
All in all the Ocean’s movies are lots of fun and full of twists and turns you won’t see coming.
