The Foreigner QuickViews

October 16, 2017 // in QuickView - Micro Reviews by David Deverett

In his first live-action film since The Karate Kid in 2010, Jackie Chan comes back with a vengeance in The Foreigner.

The film tells the story of a man (Chan) who loses his daughter in a bomb.

Wanting to find out who did it, he goes on a hunt for the people who caused his daughter’s death, while the head of the IRA (Pierce Brosnan) does whatever he can to stop him.

Filled with action and suspense, The Foreigner is a well-done action-thriller, while addressing how our world is filled with people who want to take it down.

Rating: 3/5
