The 2010s started with Toy Story 3. Now the decade has ended with Toy Story 4.
Since the toy’s owner Andy has moved on with his life, they currently live with their new one Bonnie. When she outgrows Woody as her top toy she creates a new friend: Forky. During a road trip Woody makes it his mission to make sure nothing happens to him. When that plan fails, Woody’s new adventure takes off in retrieving Forky along with meeting old and new friends who teach him values about being a toy.
An undemanding sequel we were fine with not having in our culture, Toy Story 4 wonderfully succeeds in not only expanding the franchise, but also as a goodbye to characters we have grown to love since 1995.
Office Rating: 10/10
*Fun Fact*: Each Toy Story movie has been universally acclaimed and “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes, achieving over 100% for the first two movies and 98% for the last two films
