Filled with interviews ranging from Rogers himself that were done over the years, his 2 sons and wife, people who were a part of the show, TV critics and journalists; archival clips and animated illustrations, Won’t You Be My Neighbor will move you to tears while making you laugh at unexpected moments you won’t see coming.

 

If you want more Fred Rogers keep your eyes peeled next year for You Are My Friend, a true story about a friendship that happened between Rogers and Esquire journalist Tom Junod. Tom Hanks is set to star as Rogers while shooting will begin this September.
